On the bottom row Ben ( left side) weighs in at 22 pounds, George Scocca brings in a 15 pound, and Rob Pavlick brings in the biggest of the day at 29 pounds.

Limits caught today.
All of the boats caught there limits today. King Salmon, Coho Salmon, & Ling Cod. One boat targeted halibut and limited on that as well. The weather has been sunny and seas calm. The group leaving never even put their rain gear on this week. We are 3 to 4 weeks early on Coho ( Silver) Salmon. The Brady Glacier was at its best today. A great picture taking day of the mountains.
Fishing today was great.
Most of the boats limited on King Salmon and had to release alot of fish. Several of the boats limited on Coho ( Silver) Salmon as well. The weather has been great and the water has been flat…… The old saying “you should have been here” fits into today’s fishing.

Teaching a Texan new tricks
Drake Correa a new 1st mate with us at Tanaku Lodge catches his first big halibut ever…. He thought everything in Texas was big but we have converted him that things are bigger in Alaska. Drakes fish weighed in at 167 lbs.
